“Meat” or male crab – 4 each (1.2kg each)
Garlic (grind) – 1/2 bowl
Big Onion (grind) – 5 each
Small onion (grind) – 10 each
Fresh Red chili (grind) – 5 sticks
Dried chili (grind) – 5 sticks
Curry leaves – 3 stalks
Spices
Chili powder – 2 table spoons
Curry powder – 4 table spoons
Tumeric powder – 2 table spoons
Coriander powder – 1 table spoon
Fennel powder – 1 table spoon
Cumin powder – 1 table spoon
Belacan paste – 2 table spoons
Salt – 3 table spoons
Sugar – 2 table spoons
Sauces
Water – 1 bowl
Coconut milk – 1 bowl
Steps
- Mix Spices with water, set aside;
- Heat wok, add oil, big fire, stir fry all Ingredients (except crab) for 10 minutes;
- Turn to medium fire, add Spices mixtures and fry for 5 minutes before adding crab.
- Add water and Coconut Milk, turn to small fire, cover the wok and simmer for another 10 minutes until gravy dries up.
