- + I am a foreigner working in Singapore under a valid pass of the Ministry of Manpower (www.MOM.gov.sg). Can I advertise?
No. This advertising space is only opened to Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents.
- + I live in Estate A, can I advertise in Estate B?
No. As per Terms of Advertising, you can only advertise in the estate where you live. At the first place, you can only download the mobile app by keying the postal code of your residential estate where you are either an owner or occupier as per the Terms of Use .
- + Once I have paid for the Advertising Space for a type of service, can I transfer to another person? (eg. my family members/friends who can take over my business)
No. The advertising space you paid for is non-transferrable as per the Terms of Advertising.
- + What if I need to move away from my current home estate to other estates, can I get a refund for the Advertisement I have paid for?
The Advertising Period you are paying and committed for is only six (6) months. You need to plan ahead whether you would be moving to a new house in the near term. Advertisement paid for is strictly non-refundable as per the Terms of Advertising.

You are limited to a maximum of three (3) advertising spaces (type of services) in your home estate as per the Terms of Advertising.
- + Once I have paid for an advertising space for a service, can I change to other services?
No. You are not allowed to change to other services.
- + Must I agree to give 50% off for Transport & Labour Costs to all Advertisers or ResidentServices Providers (for the first job as specified by me. Not applicable to parts and materials)?
Yes. You must agree to this to advertise in this mobile app. This is our way to draw customers to you.
- + Any reason why “Only one space per service per estate” for the Advertising Space?
This is to make every ResidentServices™ Provider stand out in your home estate. We are giving you a unique brand identity (by name of estate) so you can be identified easily by customers (eg. ResidentFlorist™ Alice of Blk 408-412 Bedok Nth Ave 1).
- + Since “Only one space per service per estate” is to make me stand out in my home estate, then why other ResidentServices™ Providers are coming into my home estate to provide services for my neighbours?
It is consumer’s choice. If you would like to stand out among your neighbours in your home estate, you should strive to provide good service for them.

The Payment Gateway is through either App Store or Google Play In-App Purchase system which uses US Dollar as the currency.

US$399.99 for a Six (6) months period.
- + Why is the Renewal Advertising Fee of US$399.99 (for subsequent six-months) so high as compared to the initial Advertising Fee of US$9.99 (for first twelve months)?

This will also give you a chance to try out your entrepreneurial journey of providing your services in your home estate, at an extremely low cost. US$9.99 for three months and that is US$3.33 per month!

The choice is yours as to where you would like to focus but it is much more productive to focus your time and energy in your own home estate. The author/founder of EstateEconomy™ David Lim has been providing services in his small home estate of 700 units since 2006 up-to-date. 90% of his businesses come within his home estate. Balance 10% are from outside his home estate which are mainly referred by his neighbours.
- + Can customers from other estates see my advertisement?
Yes. There is a search function in the mobile app where you can be found (by type of services) in any of the 5,000 home estates in Singapore.
- + There is a “Feedback On/By ResidentServices™ Providers” function in the mobile app. What is this for?
Customers can give feedback on the services provided by you. Likewise, you as a ResidentServices™ Provider, can also share your views or promotions on your services.

- + Must I have a website before I can start to advertise?
If you do not have a website yet, you can leave the “Website URL” blank while paying for the advertising space. However, it is advisable to create a website so you can promote your services. Once you have a new website, you can go to the Setting button (on top left-hand corner of the mobile app), click on “My Advertisement” to add your Website URL.
- + What are the steps to advertise?
There are only a few simple steps to advertise which is self-guided on the mobile app:
- Tap on ANY of the 120 sliders/type of services at the bottom.
- Choose the type of services that you are keen to advertise.
- Key in your details.
- Review you details.
- Agree to the Terms of Advertising.
- Pay in App Store/Google Play In-app purchase system.
- Done.
- + I am still lost. Can I get some guidance on how to advertise?
- Here are the simplified step-by-step procedures on advertising on the mobile app.
- There are 120 types of services in each home estate on the bottom slider of this mobile app.
- Tab on ANY of the 120 sliders/type of services at the bottom that you would like to offer as a ResidentServices™ Provider.
- If you can see someone’s name/photo/logo appearing in any of advertising space, that means one of your neighbours has taken and paid for this advertising space. Please take note that there is only one advertising space per type of service in every estate.
- Once you tab onto an advertising space that is not yet taken by your neighbour, you will be shown advertising details on the next page.
- If you are keen to advertise, tab on the “I am interested to advertise” button at the bottom.
- Scroll for the type of services that you are keen to advertise by tabbing on the “Select Type of Services” bar.
- Fill in all the details as required (the Discount Code is “TACKIT”).
- You must agree to the Terms of Advertising.
- Press “Next” at the bottom right corner.
- Review the details which you have keyed in. You can edit by tabbing on the arrow on the left top corner to back space.
- Tab “Confirm” at the bottom right corner if there is no change to your details.
- Before proceeding for the payment, please read the pop-out message and tab on “ I agree to the above”.
- You will be guided through by either the App Store/Google Play In-app purchase procedure.
- Once you have successfully paid, an email confirmation from App Store/Google Play will be sent to your email address which you used as an user of App Store/Google Play In-App Purchase.
- An email confirmation from Resident NoticeBoard will be sent to your email address which you used as an user of Resident NoticeBoard mobile app.

- + When should I renew my advertisement space?
All renewals for the subsequent Advertising Period can be done during the last seven (7) days of your current Advertising Period. It is your duty to track your Advertising Period and when to renew your advertising space.
- + What will happen if I do not renew my advertisement?
Your advertising space will lapse at the end of the current Advertising Period and your advertisement will be removed from the mobile app. The advertising space for the same service in your home estate will then be given up to your neighbours who are keen to advertise.
